Morning Breeze

If I can choose, which part of the day I like, my answer is I like morning. Why? I have reasons for this. First, I can breath fresh air in the morning (because the rest of the day, as all of you know, Jakarta is the fourth polluted city in the world), I can jog every morning and say hi to everyone I know in Monas.

Second reason why I like morning is because I can do meditation very peacefully, only little things can disturb me if I do it in the morning. I can hear birds singing near my bedroom, and I also like to meditate in Upposathagara (the place in the temple that can be used for chanting, and many more). Everyone have to be quite if they are inside the room (the Upposathagara).

Third reason, I feel like I have new energy, idea and spirit to start a new day. If one of you said “I don’t like Monday” for example, for me I don’t have that kind of word. It’s arose because of your own mind. Back to individual person actually. If someone felt bored or maybe tired from the past day, maybe he or she can said it like that!

Fourth reason, I can do many things with full energy in the morning. I have quite many things to do at work and actually I like to do it in the morning, for example go to the bank, pay bills, count the tax, and many more.

Fifth reason, almost forgot, I like morning because I can read the news from 2 kind of newspapers: “Kompas” and “The Jakarta Post”. I subscribed to two kinds of newspaper. Even though both of that newspaper have almost the same news but they have certain part in their articles that are different. To start the day before working, READ THE NEWSPAPER.

Sixth reason why I like morning so much is that I can start to do many many good things. Do it as long as have we have the opportunity, chance, effort, and spirit to do that!

Ok, that’s all the reasons why I like morning. How about all of you guys?

May all beings be well, be happy, be peaceful.

With Metta,

Vivi
